About Bradfield College Golf Club

The College’s picturesque nine hole course was opened in 1998 by former Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallacher & designed by renowned architect Donald Steel (www.donaldsteel.com) whose list of major championship courses including many Open venues.

In the short history of Bradfield Golf, the course has seen many a European tour winner grace these pleasant pastures from Sam Torrance, Ronan Rafferty, Barry Lane, Paul McGinley & Anthony Wall.

The generosity of multiple OB’s “Old Boys of the College” helped make this vision happen with a major contribution coming from former Club President Mr Chris Hacking.

Ethos

The club ethos was laid down under the premise of equality for all. Respecting the game and its associated dress code of smart, casual attire with the exceptions of denim and T-shirts.

Popular at Bradfield is the luxury of no tee times, making the experience for beginners new to the sport less intimidating.

21st Century Golf

As the modern world only increases in demands for time, this new club initiative gives the most time-starved player a solution.

A member can receive professional coaching in the Performance Studio (Trackman), giving the member a feel of real, then play the 9 hole course, all in less than 90mins!

Practice Facilities

We have created “one of a kind” Indoor Performance Studio in Berkshire with over 2,000sq feet of space in which to hone your game. The outdoor facilities comprise of a full size USGA putting/chipping green with (Tyrell’s) green side bunker & a Huxley 4 bay practice net.

Refurbished Clubhouse

Opened in November 2017 the new addition of an extended clubhouse.

Memberships

We have various levels for families, adults & juniors from as little as £170 per year for Juniors.

The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March.
