Novel Coronavirus – Update

We continue to carefully monitor the Novel Coronavirus outbreak, regularly reviewing updates from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Public Health England, as well as considering advice offered from the Boarding School Association and Independent Schools Council. Thank you for your ongoing understanding regarding this complex and evolving issue.
We are asking that all users of the facilities be proactive with regard to washing of hands and the use of hand sanitisers, reinforcing this with posters and messaging throughout the Complex. The best way to ensure we all remain fit and well is to take personal responsibility and any strengthening of this message that can be offered at home would be greatly appreciated.
Our request remains in place that anyone who has travelled from or been in direct contact with anyone who has recently been in mainland China, does not visit the College sites until 14 days after their departure.

FCO advice makes it clear that anyone travelling to certain countries in South-East Asia must be prepared for additional control measures and whilst no UK travel restrictions are in place now, the situation is evolving, and specific advice is offered to travellers to these countries/areas of the need to self-isolate for 14-days should they become symptomatic:

• Thailand
• Japan
• Republic of Korea
• Hong Kong
• Taiwan
• Singapore
• Malaysia
